Getting Started

COSI is an app that keeps your space comfortable on its own. It learns what comfortable means for you and adjusts your temperature and lights automatically, before you have to get up and fix them.

It looks at your room (temperature, humidity, light and noise) and, if you connect a watch, how your body is doing (heart rate, HRV, skin temperature and sleep) compared with your own normal.

Just the COSI app on iPhone or Android. COSI works with the devices you already own — there's nothing to buy from us.

To let COSI adjust your room you'll want at least one connected device, like a Google Nest thermostat, a Sensibo AC controller, Govee lights or a Govee smart plug. A watch is optional but makes COSI much smarter.

Available now:

  • Apple Watch and other wearables through Apple Health
  • Android watches through Health Connect
  • Fitbit and Pixel Watch
  • Google Nest thermostats
  • Sensibo (controls almost any air conditioner)
  • Govee lights (Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth when your phone is nearby)
  • Govee smart plugs (for a regular heater, fan or AC)

Coming soon: Garmin, Philips Hue, TP-Link Kasa, Tuya / Smart Life and Amazon Alexa.

Not yet. COSI started as a wristband our founder built to fix his own sleep, and our own hardware is still on the roadmap — but it's at least a year away. Until then, COSI works with the devices you already have. Join the waitlist to hear about it first.

Your Comfort Score (0–100) combines how your room feels with how your body is doing. If you connect a watch and allow automatic adjustments, your body counts for most of the score, measured against your own normal rather than an average person's.

The higher the score, the better your space suits you right now. COSI keeps learning from your feedback (“too warm”, “too cold”, “just right”) so it gets more accurate over time.

No. COSI is a comfort and wellness app. It doesn't diagnose, treat or monitor any medical condition, and it isn't a substitute for medical advice.

Plans & Billing
  • Free — Comfort Score, one device per category, a wearable, and 7 days of history. No payment needed.
  • Comfort+ — $9.99/month or $99.99/year. Automatic adjustments, comfort learning, schedules, alerts, vacation mode, up to 3 devices per category and 30 days of history.
  • Pro — $19.99/month or $179/year. Everything in Comfort+, plus unlimited devices, Comfort Wake and advanced sleep, multi-room zones, shared spaces and guests, and 90 days of history.

Prices are in USD; your local price is shown in the App Store or Google Play before you buy.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so you cancel there: iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. In COSI, Profile → Manage Subscription takes you straight there.

Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Privacy

Yes. Your data is stored in COSI's secure cloud (Google Firebase) and encrypted in transit. We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

Health and wearable data is only used for your own comfort and is never pooled with other users. Separately, your comfort answers and room temperatures (numbers only, no name, account or health data) help improve COSI for everyone — you can turn that off in Profile → Help improve COSI.

The app uses Google Firebase for crash reports and basic usage statistics. There are no advertising trackers in the app or on this website. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Policy.

No. If you allow the microphone, COSI only measures how loud your room is, on your phone. Audio is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

Our privacy officer is Noah Sullivan, founder. Email hello@cosicomfort.com with any question or request about your personal information.

Devices

In COSI, go to Devices → Add Device → Smart Home Devices → Govee. You'll need a Govee API key:

  • Open the Govee Home app
  • Tap Profile → Settings → Apply for API Key
  • Govee emails you the key, usually within minutes
  • Copy it, then tap “Paste key & connect” in COSI

If your lights aren't on Wi-Fi (many Govee lights only use 2.4 GHz), COSI can still control them over Bluetooth while your phone is nearby.

Go to Devices → Add Device → Wearables & Health → Fitbit and sign in with the Google account your watch uses. During the beta, spots for Fitbit and Pixel Watch may be limited.

Account

Go to Profile → Delete Account and confirm with your password. This permanently deletes your account and all your data — comfort history, device connections, settings and health data — and removes you from any friends' lists.

This can't be undone. If something isn't working, email hello@cosicomfort.com first — we'd love to help.

On the first screen, tap “I already have an account — Sign in”. Your settings and history are saved to your account, so everything comes back when you sign in.
